Peats Ridge 2010

I only took the camera into the festival ground twice during the three days of the 2010 Peats Ridge festival. There was little point during the onslaught of the midday sun, and we were never up early enough in the morning (or stay up long enough) to make mornings likely.

The setting sun though provided the best opportunities. I concentrated on taking shots in a street photography style – candid, quick and colourful – rather than be distracted by performers etc. There was a very relaxed mood, which increased as the festivl went on: most people were very happy to have their photo taken, for instance.
